Preparedness Through Partnership: Facing Wildfire Season Together

A message from Executive Director Dana Moore on strengthening cross-sector preparedness, supporting one another through wildfire season, and building a more resilient California together.

A Message from the Executive Director

Wildfire risk across California is starting to hit its peak season, with above-normal large fire activity forecast for northern California and the Sierra through August. This month’s theme, Wildfire Preparedness and Cross-Sector Coordination, reflects the reality that no single utility or agency can manage this risk alone. Strong partnerships across utility sectors and with our emergency management partners are what turn preparedness plans into effective action when fires strike.

Now is the time to confirm your mutual assistance readiness and emergency contacts, and to lean on your fellow members and CUEA for support for preparedness, response, and recovery.
