Meeting with Senate Emergency Management Committee

CUEA’s Executive Director recently met with key members of California’s new Senate Standing Committee on Emergency Management, including Senators Megan Dahle, Sasha Perez, Kelly Seyarto (Vice Chair), and Angelique Ashby. This engagement introduced CUEA’s statewide leadership in utility emergency preparedness, response, and recovery for water, wastewater, gas, electric, and telecom sectors—coordinating with Cal OES and facilitating mutual aid during disasters. Conversations like these position CUEA to offer technical expertise and support the Committee’s work on utility resilience and critical infrastructure protection.
