By registering for membership with the California Utilities Emergency Association (CUEA), you agree to the following terms:

1. Membership & Eligibility

Membership is granted to qualifying organizations upon approval and payment of applicable dues. Membership is organization-based and may include designated representatives.

All members agree to comply with CUEA bylaws, policies, and applicable rules governing participation.

2. Membership Term

Membership follows CUEA’s fiscal year, beginning July 1 and ending June 30, and is renewed annually upon payment of dues.

3. Dues & Payment

Membership dues are billed annually and are due within sixty (60) days of the original billing date.

Failure to remit payment within this timeframe may result in restricted access to membership benefits.

4. Late Payments & Account Status

Late payments up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the original billing date may be managed administratively by CUEA.

Accounts with outstanding balances beyond one hundred twenty (120) days may be subject to further action, including review by the Board of Directors and potential suspension or termination of membership.

5. Membership Termination

Membership may be suspended or terminated if:

• dues, fees, or assessments remain unpaid
• the member no longer meets eligibility requirements
• or the member voluntarily resigns with ninety (90) days written notice

6. Refund Policy

All membership dues, fees, and assessments are non-refundable.

7. Payment Processing

Payments may be made via approved methods, including credit card or electronic transfer.

A 3% processing fee will be applied to credit card transactions to offset transaction costs.

8. Access to Member Benefits

Access to member-only resources, tools, and communications is granted upon confirmation of active membership and may be revoked if membership becomes inactive.

9. Additional Member Access

Membership tiers include a designated number of representatives per organization.

Organizations may add additional representatives beyond their allotted tier at a rate of $50 per additional representative.

Additional representatives will receive individual login access and the same level of benefits associated with the organization’s membership tier.

10. Agreement

By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions and to operate in accordance with CUEA’s bylaws.
